Report of Chris Beales’ visit to St. Michael’s College, Llandaff, Cardiff on 17 February 2011.

Chris Beales met with The Friends of St Michael’s College, Llandaff to discuss the possibility of having two carpets specially made for the College to hang on the Dining Room wall.

The Building Bridges questionnaire had been previously circulated to the group of 6 people and, first, Chris ran through the answers – which provoked lively and interesting discussion. Several people had looked up the answers on the internet and one remarked on how much he had learned about Afghanistan. Chris then made a power point presentation about Afghan Action’s work – which again provoked lively discussion - before discussing the possible order for carpets (which is now going ahead).

Chris then spoke to a group of 20 College students, most of whom had also completed the questionnaire, so the first part of the session involved discussing the questions and answers before Chris did his power point presentation again.
