Building Bridges

The Department for International Development (DFID) has granted Afghan Action funding for a nationwide awareness raising programme.  Afghan Action is ‘Building Bridges’ with the Afghan diaspora across the UK in order to help them become more fully integrated into UK society and give them a voice.

In addition, Afghan Action aims to change the often negative perception that the public at large has about Afghanistan and Afghans by fostering links between the groups through discussions, talks and cultural events, amongst other things.

Please keep checking the website to find out about Building Bridges events in your area.
