Animations

Lady Lumley’s School students spent some time finding out about children’s rights.  They watched a sequence from the Kite Runner about kite flying and competitions and followed this up in Art.  Mr McGrath provided templates of kites which tesselated.  The students designed a kite pattern.  They worked in groups to create an animation by taking a sequence of photographs of their designs against a background.  They used processing software to do this but it can be done in Windows movie maker.
