Afghan action is a charity that encourages ‘trade not aid’ to underpin many of its projects in Afghanistan. One such project is our workshop in Kabul that produces authentic oriental Afghan rugs  which would make the perfect treat or gift this Christmas.

Afghan Action has a unique partnership with Oriental Rugs of Bath who stock hundreds of genuine Afghan Action rugs that are hand-made by Afghanis who are learning a trade whilst also receiving a fair wage. There are rugs to suit all budgets and you can even have one custom made to your taste.
