Mohammed Sadiq

Mohammed Sadiq lives in a family of eight people originally from Sar Chishma District of Maidan Wardak province.

Before coming to Afghan Action, he was learning to weave carpets in a company where they were making him sit for over fourteen hours a day. He used to bring a piece of bread from home for lunch.

Sadiq’s family emigrated during the Taliban era when his father fled from the village and his mother was killed in the bombing.

His father is the only breadwinner in the family. Sadiq is studying two hours a day as he is 14 years of age. His wishes to remain in Afghan Action.
