The sewing and clothing project is designed to train and employ 46 unemployed sewers and apprentices to produce clothes under the supervision of a highly skilled professional tailor, supported by three skilled trainers.
The project aims to produce attractive clothing for the Afghan market – and for other markets elsewhere in the world. Opportunities have been researched and the need for expert sewing and embroidering of clothing for special occasions (Eid, weddings etc) exists, as does a demand for uniforms (for companies, schools etc).
