Trading with Afghanistan
- Handmade Carpets Fairly Traded

Afghan Action runs a small carpet factory and training school in Kabul, Afghanistan. We train young men and women to weave traditional and modern handmade Aghan carpets. We also provide literacy and numeracy classes, on-site healthcare and a nourishing mid-day meal.

You can support our work

  • by BUYING a beautiful handmade carpet
  • by SPONSORING a trainee
  • by DONATING towards the cost of education and healthcare

We also hold regular events around the UK to raise awareness about Afghanistan and display and sell our carpets.
